Hi :) I’m a researcher in EWHA-Child Language Lab. I earned my B.A. in Special Education and my M.A. in Communication Disorders from EWHA Womans University. My research focuses on non-linguistic approach to assess and improve potential linguistic competence of children with primary language impairment. I wrote my dissertation on predictors of word learning such as semantic priming and interference in school-age children with PLI.

Shinyoung Kim, MA

I'm both a certified SLP and a doctoral student. At the same time, I'm a long-time researcher in Child Language lab. I got my M.A. in Communication Disorders from EWHA womans university. I wrote my thesis on working memory intervention, and I am still interested in the mechanism that underlies language learning, such as a working memory. I hope I will be a warm-hearted efficient helper to children with language impairment. I believe disorder is only a difference.

Hello! I am a third-year doctoral student. I did my MA in communication disorders at Ewha and BA in linguistics at Univ. of Maryland, College Park. My research interests include the effect of language intervention and predictability of language growth in culturally and linguistically diverse children.

Hi :D♥ I'm a Ph.D. student in Ewha Womans University. I have a B.A. in Child development and Korean language & literature from Seoul Women's University, and a M.A. in Speech & language pathology from Ewha Woman's University.
My main research interests are parent-child interaction and parent-training for child language development. And I am also interested in HCI(Human-Computer Interaction), I have studied and published about mobile system for promoting parent-child interaction and child development.

I got my BA in speech & language pathology. I am interested in the cognitive function that is the basis of language processing and acquisition. Also, I want to study how to deal with language problems. Through the study, I want to be an expert who can plan effective intervention.

Hello! I got my bachelor's degree with a double major in English Language & Literature and Cognitive Science and am currently pursuing my MA in Communication Disorders at Ewha Womans University. I am interested in children's language development, language acquisition, and language processing. I hope to become a SLP who truly helps children with communication disorders.

Hello! My name is Jeongwon Choi and I am a graduate student at Ewha Womans University. I received B.A. in Linguistics at University of Washington-Seattle. My fields of interest are language development in bilingual and multicultural children, and parent training. I always loved working with children so I am very excited to be a part of CLL.

Hello everyone! My name is Songyi Kim. I got my bachelor's degree in Special Education and I'm currently pursuing MA in Communication Disorders at Ewha Womans University. I've worked with kids with ASD before coming here and now, I'm particularly interested in language acquisition/development, bilingualism and parent training. Hello! I am Sunyoung Kim. I earned a B.A. in Early-Child Education from Ewha Womans University. After graduation, I worked in a kindergarten for three years. While working, I gained an interest in children with language impairments. As a member of the CLL lab, I want to study the foundations of language and learn how to treat linguistic difficulties efficiently. I hope to become a warm SLP to help all children reach their language goals and be happy!

Hi. I have a BA degree in Education and a minor in Business Administration.
While working at a secondary school in Vancouver and a psychology counseling center in Seoul, I became interested in individuals who have communication disorders for diverse reasons.
I believe communication is one of the most valuable abilities that connects us with those close to us and with the greater world, so I would like to be a door that connects people to every aspect of their world.
I am especially interested in treating the pediatric bilingual population, as well as children have language difficulties due to hearing loss or ASD.
